Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba University: An Educational Model in Senegal
The Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba University (UCAB), founded in 2006 by Serigne Mame Mor Mbacké Mourtada, is the fruit and continuation of an educational vision initiated by Cheikh Mouhammadou Mourtada in 1974, with the establishment of the Al Azhar institutes in Senegal. It defines itself as a bridge between religious values and a modern educational system, offering an academic, technical and professional approach to all its students.
A comprehensive educational system based on religious values
UCAB, and the Al Azhar institutes in Senegal, form a comprehensive and effective educational system. This system constitutes a true model of teaching, education, and training based on religious values, promoting academic, technical, and professional excellence.
